Hi, there. We’re now up to 30 artists and are hoping there will be plenty more applying by the end of this month. Please get your apps in soon; the deadline is Saturday, May 1!

The applications keep coming in. . . we are now up to 15 and counting. With the application deadline of May 1 quickly approaching, we’re hoping to see more artists apps coming in soon!

We decided it was time that the festival got a new look! So, with the help of a local freelancer, we started on a design. From there, Sherry Misener, our PR Coordinator, expanded on and capped off the new design, shown here. Our committee likes that it maintains the art nouveau theme of our previous logo, while adding elements from the scene of the art festival itself: the trees and gazebo of Commons Park in downtown Lake Mills. The new logo will be seen on our printed fliers, website, and artist invitations, among other print pieces.

The artist application went online on January 1, and now we’re starting to get in a couple of applications. A web-based invitation to apply to the festival will also be sent out very soon. Watch for yours!

The Lake Mills Main Street Program’s Art Committee is gearing up for another great Arts Festival this summer! The artist application is out there and now we’re just waiting to hear from you!
